Hamamatsu, Japan, April 27, 2007 – The Roland AdvancedJET AJ-1000 104" grand-format inkjet printer has won the prestigious European Digital Press Association EDP Award for innovation in the "Wide-Format Inkjet Printers up to 2.5m" category.
The EDP awards recognize the best and most innovative digital printing products for the previous twelve months based on the following criteria: efficiency, performance, quality/price ratio, design and ease of use. The EDP's judging committee is comprised of independent consultants, editors, engineers and other top industry professionals across Europe. Products launched in the European market from March 2006 through March 2007 are eligible for the award.
